Payton and Dawson are longtime friends of mine, who I met when I worked at the Younglife camp Rockbridge in Virginia. Funny enough, the two of them met for the first time there as well! Me being an Austin girl, I was a little nervous at the idea of shooting a Winter wedding in Toledo, Ohio. I am not equipped for the cold. Lucky for me, and for the newly Mr. and Mrs. Mancabelli, December 28, 2019 ended up being the most mild day of the Winter that year. Not to brag, but I think I might be the one that brought the warm weather to them!
They were married at The Venues Toledo, and we were actually one of the first couples to shoot there which was really awesome. The bride and groom both got ready in historic Toledo houses with their friends. The bride, and the bridesmaids, wore beautiful gowns from Azazie, and the men were dressed in Men’s Wearhouse.
It was a spectacular day filled with friends and family, beautifully decorated to celebrate Payton and Dawson. After the ceremony we headed to the art museum in downtown Toledo, which made for really fun and unique pictures. We even ran into another couple and their wedding party who had just been married as well! It was a day filled with memories that none of us are soon to forget.
Payton and Dawson have since moved to Georgia, with Dawson working on Younglife Staff, and Payton finishing Chiropractic school.
