Walking down the aisle in her BHLDN dress, Alee couldn’t help but smile at her soon-to-be husband waiting for her at the end. Josh stood proudly, hardly able to believe that they had finally made it to their big day. Josh and Alee first met at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where Alee was hosting a Students for Cruz event. At the time, she was working on the Ted Cruz campaign, and couldn’t turn down an opportunity to attend. Josh was there with his friend Charlie, representing his organization, Turning Point USA. Through mutual friends, Josh and Alee met the very last night. 

Some might have thought this would be the end of the story, but thanks to a short, but meaningful conversation, the two couldn’t stay away from each other. After doing the romantic thing and following each other on every possible social media platform, Josh messaged Alee two weeks later. Mostly as an excuse to see her again, but also because of her amazing work at the conference, he invited her to speak at an event that Turning Point was holding. 

After that, it was months of Facetime dates, sweet texts and phone calls. They visited each other, and as they say, the rest is history. On January 1, 2017, Josh and Alee had the opportunity to share their love, and lifelong commitment, with their closest friends and family. The beautiful ceremony was held at Star Hill Ranch, where Alee and her bridal party, which included her fluffy companion Cozie, prepped for the special occasion. 

The intimate and elegant bridal party wore dresses by BHLDN, and the groomsmen wore Men’s Wearhouse. The reception took place inside The Fitzhugh Hall, where Josh and Alee joined their loved ones in celebration. Catered by Royal Fig, they were able to add their own personal touches to each detail. A nod to Josh’s Shark Tank famous maple syrup company, Parker’s Real Maple, could be seen in a custom cake that everyone was able to enjoy. The night ended in a beautiful sparkler sendoff, marking the start of a new chapter in their love story.

The couple has since moved to New York, and will soon be celebrating their 4 year anniversary!
