Writing this post has been on the back burner for a while, but my passion was reignited. If you were to ask me, “Are you really writing a whole blog post about one wedding venue?” The answer is “Heck yes!” The love and appreciation I have for this venue is overwhelming. The care put into every little detail of this place seals the deal as one of my absolute favorite venues in the Texas Hill Country.

Beyond my love for the charm of the building, its meticulously maintained landscaping, and exquisite stone terraces, one of my favorite things about this venue is how it began. Villa Antonia was never intended to be a wedding venue, but a home. It got its name from Antonia, the woman who designed every intricate detail of the building in the dreams of building her perfect home. Soon after she moved in, she began getting requests to have weddings there and soon turned it into one of the most incredible wedding venues in Texas.

Speaking from a photographer’s perspective, almost every square inch of the property has breathtaking backgrounds perfect for the ceremony, reception, and some epic couples portraits. The attention to detail and elegant, romantic ambiance screams love. Hence why one of my favorite sayings about the venue, is “Villa Antonia is for lovers.”
